Elia believes counseling should provide a therapeutic, empowering experience that helps individuals discover effective coping strategies to enrich their lives and wellbeing. She supports individuals in identifying their strengths and empowers them through difficult emotions and experiences. You matter, and so does your mental health. She provides you with a safe space for self-exploration and growth.
Elia's goal is to hold a supportive, empathetic, compassionate, and non-judgmental space for you to process your thoughts and feelings. She uses a combination of approaches including cognitive-behavioral therapy, rational emotive behavioral therapy, and person-centered therapy. Her care plans provide you with personalized counseling experiences tailored to your unique needs.
Elia completed a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Counseling at National Louis University. She enjoys working with individuals from all backgrounds and life stages and has experience working with substance abuse, crisis intervention, and psychosis. Elia's specialties include anxiety, depression, substance abuse, trauma, stress management, adjustment disorders, social anxiety, and life transitions. She is honored and excited to join you on your path to healing and wellness.
